#1: miss A
While 2NE1 fans would happily closeout the decade at 2009, one last group squeezed into this list. miss A, another fearsome foursome, slammed K-pop fans upside the head with the aggressively tough (and titillating, if we’re being honest) “Bad Girl Good Girl” debut track. They may not be as out-there creative as 2NE1 with their softer, more melodious sound, but miss A won comparisons to older and more experienced groups right off the bat. Half Chinese (Fei and Jia) and half Korean (Min and Suzy), miss A already established a beachhead in the Chinese market, and with songs like “Breathe” and “Good Bye Baby” showcasing the girls’ range, they’ve got the potential to follow 2NE1’s global appeal.

Group miss A attended the red carpet event for 2011 Mnet Asia Music Award, which will be held in Singapore on November 29.
Miss A’s Min had hurt her muscle in the neck while working on dancing step. She received lots of attention at the event.
Min said,”It’s a lovely day. Thank you all in Singapore.”
The agency JYP Entertainment said, “Min had hurt her muscle in the neck while practicing her dancing last week. The muscle was cramped up and she had to wear a cast in her neck. She has been well and the cast in her neck will be taken off before she performs at the stage for2011 Mnet Asia Music Award.”
Min tweeted her picture wearing the cast with the comment, “The members of miss A scrawled on my cast with their autographs.”
In the picture, Min and Jia are wearing their sunglasses, making sad expressions. The picture drew lots of attention.
It has been a rough couple of weeks for members of many girl groups in terms of injuries and problems. Earlier, we reported that T-ara’s Eunjung is recovering after falling from a horse, Secret’s Hyosung got casts on both of her legs due to a fall down the stairs, After School’s Jooyeon was hospitalized due to the acute inflammation of her kidneys, and KARA’s Gyuri has been having issues with her vocal cords. Now, miss A’s Min has joined the injury list as she twisted and injured her neck during rehearsal, making her unable to attend their scheduled concert appearance in Taiwan alongside Super Junior, f(x), and 2AM.
After getting attention from a doctor, it was determined that Min would not be able to attend the concert that is scheduled to be held this weekend, as performing at this point would worsen her neck’s condition. In relation to this, Min tweeted, “My neck is out…can’t lift my arms up.” The remaining members of miss A will attend and perform at the concert as scheduled.
The four groups are expected to arrive in Taiwan on the 26th, the day of the concert. Aside from Leeteuk, the members of Super Junior as well as miss A will be staying in Taiwan for the night, and will take flight CI757 to Singapore on the 27th at 2:05pm in order to attend the Mnet Asian Music Awards. Leeteuk, along with f(x) and 2AM, will be flying back to Korea on the night of the 26th at 11:50pm.
Meanwhile, aside from the concert, the artists performing at the event have also expressed their love for the food in Taiwan. In particular, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun is looking forward to eating salted crispy chicken, while miss A’s Fei is hoping she will get the opportunity to eat chicken fried steak.
